Are you a newcomer to Canada? Or do you simply want a supportive, friendly space to practice your spoken English? You are warmly invited to join our small group conversation meetings!

Program Overview
What: Welcoming group formats where everyone gets a chance to speak.
Engaging weekly topics that help you navigate daily life in Canada.
A provided conversation guide to help keep discussions easy and fun.
A short, related Bible passage included in each session.
Level: Best suited for intermediate to advanced English learners.
Atmosphere: Safe and supportive environment where making mistakes is completely okay.
Staffing: Friendly church and local volunteers who are there to talk and answer questions (not professional ESL teachers).
Weekly Format & Workflow
Preparation: Participants receive a weekly email with a conversation guide containing the theme, questions, and useful expressions.
Welcome (10 Mins): Everyone gathers as a group general conversation.
Conversation: Participants split into groups of 2 or 3 with one volunteer to discuss the weekly topic (e.g., travel, hobbies, food).
Wrap-up (5 Mins): The whole group shortly shares their lives to do say goodbye.

Weekly Events
You are invited to join us for an hour of fellowship, encouragement in faith, and learning of God's Word, the Bible! We’ll meet at 700 pm - 8:00 pm at the church building. Should you have any questions or wish to receive more information about the Bible Study sessions or be added to the email list, please feel free to reach out to /Elder Ronald Engen at nick@livinghopelutheran.ca.
Youth-age kids in Grades 6-12 are invited to come together at the Church at 7:00 pm every Friday night for an engaging time of Bible study or fun games, accompanied by laughter and snacks. If you are interested in learning more about our activities or wish to be added to our email list, please feel free to reach out to us at education@livinghopelutheran.ca. Parents of youth-age kids are also encouraged to send us an email if they would like their children to be a part of these gatherings!
